Lithium Fluoride - LiF
lenses, windows, mirrors, filters and prisms
Click here to download PDF version of this page. This material is used for the maufacture of optical windows, lenses, prisms, x-ray monochromator plates, and refracting components in the vacuum ultraviolet, visible and infrared. Lithium Fluoride is attacked by atmospheric moisture and is sensitive to thermal shock.
